Jalandhar – Revolutionary Marxists Party Of India (RMPI) strongly condemned the brutal attacks upon dalit community, yesterday at Koregaon, (Pune) Maharashtra.One dalit youth has been killed in this attack made by activists of SambhajiBrigade, a communal outfit backed by RSS with the support of Modi Regime and Maharashtra government led by BJP. These attacks are a part of deep conspiracy of RSS to spread the communal fascist hatred and revival of Manuwadi caste based ruling system. This was stated in a press communique, released here today, by Comrade Mangat Ram Pasla, Comrade Rajinder Pranjpai and Comrade Harkanwal Singh; General Secretarty, Standing Committee Member and Secretary of Punjab State Committee of RMPI respectively. The communist leaders further stated that there may be any difference of opinion regarding any incident or idea but no one should be allowed such offences like of Koregaon. They said that this day is celebrated by the Dalit Community as a mark of victory against the caste based atrocities against dalits by the then Peshwa rulers. It was these inhuman treatment and atrocities for the dalits joins the British army in the colonial era. They fought against Peshwas, from the side of colonial army because of these anti human atrocities. The Peshwas were defeated badly in the battle. RMPI leaders called upon the democratic, patriotic and progressive people and organisations of country to oppose such brutality. They affirmed that RMPI will continue and strengthen its struggle against communal fascist agenda of RSS.
