Jalandhar - Brutal attack on the office of Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI) at Onchiam (Kozikod) and its adjoing houses by the CPI (M) sponsored hoodlums on February 11 (Sunday) is an indication of worst type of arnachy pervailing in Kerala. This has been stated in a press statement released here today by Com. Mangat Ram Pasla General Secretary of RMPI. He strongly condemned this attack and further stated that it is the height of administrative injustice that instead of arresting the culprits of the heinious crime, the police on the contrary, has implicated nearly a dozen of innocent people along with Com. N. Venu, State Secretary of our Party under a false and fabricated case of Arms Act. Com. Pasla affirmed that the local leaders of the RMPI were peacefuly holding a meeting inside the office, when without andy provocation, they were attacked by the socalled CPI (M) cader with lethal weapons. These are the same elements who earlierly killed our beloved Com. T.P. Chander Sekheran. Com. Pasla stated that RMPI in Kerala, as in all other States, is striving for the redressal of problems being faced by the working masses because of the anti-people, neoliberal policies of the Central and State governments. Thus it is gaining sympathy from the masses, which is a strong irritant for the ruling CPI(M) in Kerala. That is why there have adopted such brutal measures to browbeat our comrades, in which they will never succeed. Com. Pasla urged upon the governer as well as Chief Minister of Kerala govt. to immidiately release Com. N. Venu and other members of our party, and in istead, to arrest the perpetretors of this attack on the party office and on the adjoing houses.
